CENTRE Commissioned by: AUKETT + GARRETTI Developer + P.M.: Europa Risorse Architectural Design: Aukett+Garretti, Arch. Kanah Detail Design and Site Supervision for the refurbishment and realization of the new Management Center in Milan, viale Bodio, ex-Alcatel area. The goal of the work has been the search for technical solution allowing extreme speed and efficiency in the realisation and a control on the cost of realisation and management. The design activity started in fall 2001, on June 30th 2002 the first building (6.000sq.m) was delivered to the final user "MARSH", on December 30th 2002 other two buildings (25.000sq.m total) was delivered to "UNICREDITO" The thermal-vector fluids production stations are POLYVALENT, heat-pump reversible; the COP (C.O.P .= Coefficient of Performance), defined as the relationship between the system outgoing thermal power (cooling power + heating power = outgoing thermal power) and the system incoming power (electrical power = incoming power), given the particular configuration of the thermo-frigo station and the fed-by plants, it's always at the best level achievable in relation to the thermo-hygrometric conditions and the use of the " building/plants system" In the part of the year when there is the production of cold energy (summer and mid-season period) there is "no energetic cost" in the production of hot energy, and vice-versa.
