Detail
design and site supervision of M&E plants for the first MSC (Mobile
Switching Centre) in Italy of OMNITEL Pronto Italia S.p.A:.
First
Omnitel site in Italy to start the service as second Italian GSM provider.
The building hosts the telecommunication apparatuses, the Data
Centre and other services as: Test Plant, BSC offices, CGR, Customer Care, etc.
The second, third and fourth MSC have been realised as
enlargement of the first.
During all the enlargements all the computers and apparatuses worked in
continuous service.
The pipeline/functional layout allows the maximum grade of flexibility, serving,
with the only central system, both the "civil users" (offices) and the
"h24 industrial users" (telephone apparatuses, MSC, Data Center, etc.).
