The building has an imposing presence and is made up of two main bodies “hinged” together. The first, called “tower”, is made up of 9 floors above and 2 below ground whilst the second is shaped as a bridge, consisting of two floors – the fourth and the fifth – plus two floors underground. These two bodies are then accompanied by two other parts, the first of which is an old industrial building, dating back to the beginning of the last century, which used to host the old Campari factory, and a second part called “lobby”: a large square, with a very distinctive curvilinear covering, sloping down towards a sheet of water, made of laminar wood and a covering of vegetation.
The old historical building has now been made into the Davide Campari Museum.
The plant fully exploits the use of groundwater, utilizing recovered condensation multi-use refrigeration units, convertible into heat pumps.
Groundwater is also used to pre-cool the external air supply.
NO thermal power plant has been included in the Campari project.
